Thembelenkosini literally means believe in God. He was born in the early eighties at the height of the horrible atrocities committed by the fifth brigade in Lupane. This led him to become a bona-fide protesting artist at an early age at Jotsholo high school where he participated in amateur drama plays. Towards the new millennium, Thembelenkosini moved to Bulawayo’s high density suburb, Magwegwe. He joined Magwegwe Drama Club and work-shopped productions like ‘Survival’, ‘Tears, izinyembezi’ and Inkululeko (Freedom), these productions portrayed their daily hardships in Zimbabwe. He also attended arts workshops which were being held by Albert Nyathi, a well known poet. In Several times, this led him to be in trouble with the government’s agents and forced him to go underground up to the time he fled and came to the UK. He joined T.U.F Productions and he is a fulltime member.
