Maqhawe is a balanced artist who started his trade in 1994 at Mtshabezi Secondary School as a lead singer of a music group, ‘Showers of blessings’. In 1997, he formed Mhlahlandlela Performing Arts and they created productions like Iziqholo Zezhwane and Koze kulunge.. During that period Maqhawe also worked as a backing vocalist for his brother, a well known Zimbabwean music maestro Majahawodwa Ndlovu. In 2003, after fleeing Zimbabwe he formed Simunye music and dance group based in Stoke-on-Trent. He has been embarking on a solo project under the name Nashville Production on which he is working on his debut Kwaito album ‘Khandu Cash’in which featured Khulekani moyo. Qhawe also worked with a folk band called The Boat Band which helped him release a cd which mainly focused on refugees and assylum seekers from across the globe . In mid 2007, Maqhawe finally became a full time member of T.U.F Productions of which he is part of the touring ‘Cry My Zimbabwe’ cast.
