is a community based arts organisation formed by artists who found themselves under-fire in Zimbabwe. They fled from the political turmoil and constant threat of persecution to seek asylum in Britain.

TUF Productions was established by Peter Mutanda, Kabelo Madonko and Edwin Mathe on the 20th August 2006. Dingilizwe Ncube, Maqhawe Ndlovu, Thembelenkosini Moyo and Clement Moyo later joined.

The organisation’s main aim is to tackle social matters and bring to the forefront issues that concern the most vulnerable members of the community i.e. Asylum seekers and homeless people. T.U.F Productions will strive to achieve its aims through work-shopping arts productions and holding social inclusion arts workshops. T.U.F Productions is a member of Leeds No Boarders and works closely with the Refugee Council (Leeds) and other community organisations around Yorkshire.

T.U.F creates a unique style in their work, echoing African music and Theatre, in this way they educate whilst entertaining through reflecting personal experiences. Performances are professional developed to a high standard for touring. T.U.F will achieve its aims through performing arts and holding social inclusion arts workshops. Membership is open, offering opportunities to escape boredom, loneliness while curving a performing arts skill. Since 2006, T.U.F Productions has been developing original pieces i.e. Theatre play “Cry My Zimbabwe” and a music and dance Theatre production “The Twilight Rainbow” etc In addition to introducing theatre to community members through performances as a means of promoting dialogue around the important social issues they face daily, T.U.F conducts community theatre workshops.
